Lavochkin La-5FN

We are getting more details for this aircraft, so data is not final and will be updated

Here is an original 1945 Soviet manual of operation and maintenace of La-7 (twin ShVAK version) to you guys: [sharedmedia=core:attachments:13856]

(Which also illustrates the main differences between La-5FN and La-7 in it)

just checked to see if its true, so this is the REAL IN GAME performance of the LA-5FN (historical battle mode) :

Max sea level speed: 551 km/h no WEP ,583 km/h with WEP
Max speed at 6250m: 490 km/h with WEP, when dropped to 100% speed started to go down. :(s
Time to climb to 5000m: 4:30 with WEP all the way up

Gaijin, please do some thing to fix the top speed in high altitude.

and just a question about the la-5, are the wing supposed to break at 650-670 kph, cause its not a good diver at all.

thanks!

Are you sure you weren't using IAS when testing it's speed at altitude ?

I would love to see this done for all air craft that are in game you can start with some of the more common Russian planes like the mig 15 the yer - 2 and let's not for get payload abilities .  for example the mig 15 in game top speed is 669mph witch is accurate how ever for some reason the f-86 saber is only at 652 when in reality its 685mph and I could go on with this right down the Russian line most of the planes like the yer - 2 are inaccurate while a few in the Russian line are most of any other nation's planes have lower stats in game than real data sheets as well as on top of that yet will not even do what in game data sheet say's.   So Please do I would like you to correct your errors and post more of these to find your faults.   For bombers please do include payload abilities so that you can see the yer-2 line in game is way off on it's abilities

Thanks guys, good to see this data you use, it makes us much happier to know Gaijin is using this to make sure planes are working right!

@Iwasatoad: The YER-2's bomb payload is accurate, 5000kg is it's overloaded short-range mission capacity. The issue is that very few other bombers can carry their overloaded short-range load. While the bomb payloads on the B-17 and Liberator are historically accurate, you have to remember that's the amount of bombs they carried when they flew all the way to Berlin and back, not their max payload and certainly not something a YER-2 laden with 5000Kgs could do.
