Losing focus after latest upgrade

Same issue on Arch Linux. Also, when this happens, war thunder has stated parking the mouse pointer in the top left corner of the screen, which really screws up tanks and planes.

I did find that using full screen on a single display allowed the game to be played. Not a fix, though.

+1 to this

yesterday i was able to play fine, today i can use the mouse without any problem in the menus, but entering the game (battles or test drive) the mouse acts very weird (as always being in the wrong place and jump outside the game) making it impossible to do anything. I'm using a 3 screen setup (but only play in the middle one). Planes, tanks and boats are affected, but not the menus and main screen

I tried to change focus follow mouse, click to focus, didn't help. Windows or full screen also didn't help, as reset all the game controls.

if i move the game window to the first screen ( +0+0 position), the mouse gets lot better and stop jumping to other screens... yet after some seconds and movements, it quickly gets in a state where you are looking to the sky and can't look down.

So guessing, there was some change in the SDL code in the today update and linux people (or at least multiple screen setup) is broken

ohh, and the mouse is always jumping outside the game, the freeze detection will sooner or later trigger and kill the game (wasted a +500% RP bonus) :(

i'm using fluxbox, @boycottsystemd is using openbox, what are you using @OldDeadMan ?

This is my list of changed files since yesterday

Hello everyone, @boycottsystemd, @OldDeadMan, @higuita7.

Yes I have noticed this issue after today's update as well, I have reported this however could you please post your full system information and the .clog file from a session in which the issue occurs? So I can add your files to the report.

Also are all of you running the game client through Steam? If so could you please launch the game client directly (Using the "./launcher" command in the main "WarThunder" directory) and see if the issue of the view jumping upwards during matches still occurs?

i'm running the game on this machine directly using the launcher

Inxi above, clog and dmp logs attached now. Notice that teh dmp is due the lack of focus and the game decides to kill it (by the way, a way to disable this would be good, sometime it kills my game just because i went to check the email or chats)

i can confirm that it also happens for me when launched without steam.

Fullscreen is no solution for me as that still freezes my x-server untill killed :(

Just discovered that my mouse now looses focus (as if alt tabbed)  when playing in windowed mode (my default way of playing WT), and therefore i crash to the ground each time.

If i play fullscreen, the mouse responds fine during the whole match.

Problem appears on all sorts of compositors no composite desktop (mate), compiz and mutter (cinnamon)

That's new to the version 1.81, mouse was fine before.

My rig : Manjaro 4.14.7 / Nvidia 396.54 / Mouse Razer deathadder (openrazer drivers).

Found a stopgap : Wine + dxvk 0.72 works fine in windowed mode (just have to switch desk twice to get the keyboard focus back when i'm doing something else). Given the sorry state of the Linux client , its ok i still i have the occasional stutter but nothing dramatic.
