ju 88 24/6/18 Ju 88 A variants drop order/sequence

Hello folks,

 

I fly the A-4 a lot in game and i found it odd, that external payload is always dropped in pairs.

 

Seeing the drop sequence in Il-2 BoS (i think), the inner 4 pylons are triggered one by one from right to left. There are 2 more pylons at approx. center of the ailerons, which are missing ingame... Should be ETC 250 i think...

 

Anyways, after getting curious and a lot of fruitless digging, i found a manual of the dropable ordinance equipment, i finally have the needed evidence... Hopefully...

Basically, the bombardier can select, if internal or external ordinance should be dropped first.

The drop order is shown on Page 31...

 

If you dont understand something, i'll try to translate or explain it in more detail.

 

The selection of internal or external ordinance could rather simply realised in game, by linking it to the bomb bay door. So If the bomb bay is open, internal ordinance is dropped first, when its closed, external ordinance will drop first...

 

If someone can provide further source material, please do so!

The option to select the bomb load and drop order is not implemented in game at the moment.

 

I can process the absence of independant drop for the wing racks and submit it as a bug report.

 

But for the bomb load release order / selection, I believe that it was already suggested in the past, and is not a bug as it is not implemented in game.
