You have to assign keys or whatever in the control settings then you can adjust the distance in the gunsight view, I use the mousewheel.

Not sure I understand. Went to sight control but is asking for axis? All I would like to do is have the cross hair be zero at 1000 meters?  non range finding tank.

Yes, to control the axis along which the horizontal line goes up and down. You can set a button to make horizontal go up, you can set a button with which it goes down, and you can set a button to make it jump back to zero.

Set those three buttons and push the one to make the horizontal crawl to 1000. Then you've got what you want. Beware, on changing ammo you need to readjust...

Thanks. Did this and not what I was hoping. Was looking for more along the lines of a rifle scope where you set your zero at a point which matches the cross hair. Like setting the scope at 500 meters, then when fired, hit the CX at 500 but high at 200 and low at 1000. Right now, the scope on the tank fires low from point blank aim point all the way out and have to use sometimes huge amounts of elevation for a hit.

bind a key for sniper mode

bind sight distance control to the mousewheel (second arrow)

from sniper mode with crosshairs on the target, you can adjust the range with the mousewheel and it automatically elevates the gun (no resighting needed)
