game currency Gold Eagles: What you can buy with them.

Gold Eagles (GE)  is a “virtual” in-game currency acquired by purchasing with popular government backed currency (aka: real money), or gain by various prizes, video submissions (Thunder Show), event awards, and bonus with product purchases.   This is link to store listing only the GE purchase rate (check out bundle prices).

In contrast Silver Lions (SL)  is earned by simply playing the game and other methods, or converted from GE.

 

There are a number of items you can purchase with purchase with GE (if any changes, shout out):

1. Premium vehicles (one of most common reason to spend GE)
2. Premium time (when not purchasing PT via vehicle packs (see chat below))
3. Silver Lions (more GE spent the bigger exchange rate, best is 433 SL per GE (see chat below))
4. Crew XP (more GE spent the bigger exchange rate, best is 17.5 CXP per GE (see chat below))
5. Unlocking Crew Slot (3 free, 2 purchased with SL, and 4 more with GE (200, 500, 800, etc)
6. Vehicle Module purchase (full amount or remaining portion, but extremely expensive with low rank units!)
7. Talisman (price varies with unit)
8. Back Up vehicles (price varies with unit, best to earn WarBonds  and buy a pack of 10)
9. Ace Crew (after purchasing Expert Crew with SL)
10. Unit Unlock in Tree (if one also has enough yellow Convertible Research Points , details found in this post)
11. Purchasing Gift Boxes with various random prizes (in game store)
12. Purchasing boosters (in game store)

(there may be trophies and tickets from time to time, just noting this)

 

And of course Swag

• Camouflage / Skins (200GE typical,  Some skins will give you camo advantage in game)
• Decoration (ground only) (500GE typical, could provide advantage in ground battles so is more than just decoration)
• Decals (200GE typical)
• National Flags (500GE typical)

 

If you are creating a Squadron (Clan/Guild/etc)
2500GE
 

Finally seasonal events (S.U.M.M.E.R., Festivities, etc) where if one cannot earn an item playing games, they could purchase the token with GE (varies, amounts seen are 199 to 999 GE)

Tournament Tickets is another GE purchase item seen on rare occasion.

Even if you don't count the application of Convertible XP, Rookie Trophies (found in the Item Shop) would technically be the only other thing that can be bought with only GE.  Concerning additional crew slots though, other then Air Arcade and Tank RB (potentially), having over 5 slots is of trivial value, since most game modes will restrict your spawn limit.

I have a problem, help me plz: CAN WE UNDO PREMIUM VEHICLES ORDER? A friend used my computer and bought the super hellcat accidentaly but I don't want it! I don't play the americans and I want my money back !  I didn't even trained my crew for it!

They can have uses in other modes too, if you don't mind the wasted crew skills (or if you already maxed them out).

- parking damaged vehicles on additional slots to be repaired for free

- if you have more than five vehicles for the BR you are playing at, it can be useful to have many of them available, because you can make better choices about what to spawn once you see whether you are uptiered or downtiered. To expand on your GE Question, i have just recently talisman-ed every top tier tank and AAA (VII) Vehicle in each nation

 

Apart from the Ariete (has at the time i didn't have it) i now only need to do the Italian top tank and AAA (When it comes out) and the Japanese AAA.

 

This in turn will help me quite a-bit when new vehicles come out, i just wish they have a SL Modifier to Talisman's, or a SL equivalent you could apply.

 

In the future i'm planing to do the same with planes (next year) and Maybe ships / Helicopters when they are further fleshed out

One thing we definitely can't buy is a Skill...it really needs years of playing ...at least a couple of em))

I did not mention Gaijin Coin (GJN) because it is a completely separate economy, used in the Market.

One can convert GJN to GE.

There will never be a way to convert anything except real world money to GJN.

Hi there, so an quick questions... after some time coming and going out of the game, since the pandemic i have been spending more time in the game and recently decided to sell the items i have in the inventory for some time for gaijin coin. 1st one: if i sell an item for 0.11, Gaijin takes 0.01 only right? no more hidden costs for me? 2nd i have items for so long that if i want to sell them, there is like no demand for them, can i still try and sell them? idk if they are any decent btw...

Yes.  When you sell, it will tell you how much you will receive.  No other cut taken.

When you buy something, there is no sales tax, or VAT, or fee, or anything like that.  It is only when you sell is there a fee.

They can be for sale long after the earth explodes.

ADDENDUM:

The Market Place currency GJN  can also be converted to GE at a rate of 1 = 1.  

To do this go to Purchase GE icon (top right), and select GJN instead of $ or whatever your money icon is.

Pretty sure the exchange rate is higher than that, more like 100:1 IIRC. 

My 90% off Brummbar cost me a few GJN to convert and they are 3600 GE IIRC. The reason I know that is I've never had even remotely 360GJn to convert if it was 1:1..
