And finally...

  • The full name of the vehicle affected. If the problem is isolated to one difficulty setting (e.g. Simulator), specify which.

AP MkII rocket

  • A detailed description of the issue you have or what you see as being erroneous regarding its representation in-game.

The mass for the 25lb AP MkII is incorrect, ingame it is actually indicated at 21kg, while it should be ~27kg.

  • Unless the data is taken from an official Gaijin statement, please provide a documented test and provide the Client Log from that session.

  • A detailed description of the fix you suggest. Provide sources including reference that underline your position. This is up to the discretion of the Technical Moderator handling the report, however the number of sources required depends on the type of source presented:

Correct its mass from 21kg to ~27kg.

  • User Manual / Repair Manual / Factory Manual etc - Historically acknowledged reference sources - single source required.

Warhead 24.75lbs (~10,8kg) Rocket motor 35.1lbs (~15,9kg)

24.75lbs + 35.1lbs  = 59.85lbs

which translates to

10,8kg + 15,9kg = 26,7kg

Hi.

Thank you for your report,

I will investigate.

Please notice that you are currently claiming a typo issue, as nothing here is related to the FM.

Hello and thank you for your approval, I am just asking a question here as it might not be as simple as that but, isn't the damage of a shell also related to it's weight ? If so, if the weight indicated there corresponds to the weight implemented in the in-game parameters, then isn't it more than just a typo ?

Thanks again :salute:

Shell weight / performance in the code and shell performance on a windows from the data card are 2 different things.

If I edit now Fury Mk I data card to say that that plane can do 700kmh at 12'000m, and the FM remain.unchanged, your plane will be the same.

Ok, I understand that, as I regularly see reports in this section related to either muzzle velocity/weight/armor penetration of various shells I assumed that this was the correct section, sorry for that.

I myself did a report here about the wrong muzzle velocity shown in the data card of the Oerlikon gun used in both the Crusader AA MkII and AEC AA, the devs corrected it from 730ms to 830ms and the change could definitely be felt in-game, so I assume that for that particular report the error was not only in the data card but also in the code.

As shell weight is a quite difficult parameter to verify by specific in-game test procedure and as I don't have the ability to look into the code, wouldn't it be pertinent to ask the devs to also check the code to be sure that it isn't just a typo in the data card ?

The verification of what can't be accessed by players is part of our job.

Many reports are posted here while being actually text material.

Since yours was compliant with the level of detail for text / typo issue, but not FM issue, I specified why it was published for external record / transparency purpose.
