This is a discussion of what vehicles fellow players like/do not like to play in the game.

 

Not only is it entertaining, but it can be a very effective and useful research tool for a newerish player when trying to decide what to try to unlock.

 

But be aware that as time goes by, vehicles can change in how they perform or operate after updates.  Ultimately the final verdict always rests with each individual player and their play styles.

Is there just a vehicle that you just hate? You see people get kills in it or play decently but you never seem to catch a break in it? Is it a plane or is it a tank? I want to know! 

 

(Mine is the leopard 1, ill go 5 matches insta death and one match with 5-7 kills in it. Love it but I hate it)

The vehicles I dislike:

Plane: Piaggio P.108A, I simply cannot stand flying that plane at all.

Tank: M3 Lee, I think this tank is fantastic to some but to me, it does not suit my way of playing and usually I die in it immediately when a enemy tank is seen nearby.

Plane: Any non fighter; So Heavy Fighters, Bombers (the exception being the BV 238), and Attackers, they're all non-competitive and free XP for the enemy team

I think the main problem with you is your global lack of skill.

Saw that because you said that the only "competitive" bomber in your opinion was the BV-238. You need to argue about why planes are not competitive, because for now if the BV is the only bomber you like, it's probably because it's an undertiered piece of nonsense. A plane isn't bad or non-competitive because you can't play it right.

Strange, comparing both our arcade and realistic battle stats shows me having the higher efficiency and skill rating. But sure, I guess it's my lack of skill right? 

 

Attackers, Heavy Fighters, and Bombers (with some very few exceptions) are simply outcompeted by fighters in every metric that matters, which is maneuverability and versatility. There is simply no point in having immense firepower if the plane cannot bear its guns on anything, no point in having an attacker when many fighters can be near as destructive towards ground targets whilst also having the ability to dogfight, and no point in using bombers both frontline and strategic when they are easy pickings and not guarded by fighter squadrons like they would traditionally be.

This will be an easy answer. I have 3 that come to mind real fast they all happen to be British tanks.

 

 #1- the comet: reason, crap reverse.

 #2- the challenger: reason, crap reverse

 #3- the archer: reason, which ways front.. Which way is rear lol so confusing. Also crap reverse or is it forward??

I agree it is kind of confusing when you use the Archer. You are fast in the reverse but your gun does not aim backwards..... Its kind of amusing to be fair.

Any bomber.

The goal of the bomber is to bomb out the enemy bases and the airfield and/or tanks to achieve victory.
This ruins it for:

Friendly fighters - They want to fight and win the match by killing the enemy planes. You know how the game is built around that factor.
Friendly heavy fighters - Same as above.
Friendly bombers - It's competetive to bomb out as much stuff on your OWN to maximise rp/sl gain
Friendly Attackers - You are unable to help them if they are in trouble.
Enemy bombers - If they're en-route to drop their payload and you win the match beforehand(on a 2nd or 3rd flyout)
Enemy fighters - How frustrating is it to get randomly pilotsniped by rng tailgunner spread at 2km?
Myself as the bomber - I loathe not being part of the winning factor of the team. I'm useless in this flying box.

That leaves.. Enemy heavy fighters like you? And they will swat you out of the sky. Just like random flak at 5500m

The Type 60 ATM.
It's big as a barn. Only 6 rockets. Sub par mobility and to top it off. The WASD-controlled rockets fly slow enough that they can't even catch up to some of the biplanes in level flight. (i'm not even joking)

Plane: Jets in general. Jet combat in this game feels...cramped. Very frantic and twitch-reflex based gameplay with little time for planning and picking your battles. It's almost silly when looking at the battle from afar with how much of a furball it usually is. Climbing is pointless, where you go after you take off is almost as pointless. It's all about speed; the fastest players usually do the best and it takes all the fun kind of maneuver and energy fighting you find in props away. Early jets sub-8.0 are still kind of enjoyable, but nevertheless are often the same in principle.

 

Tank: Shermans. Tall, ugly, not particularly maneuverable, neither very fast, lack of armor on most models, gun is kind of mediocre/nothing special. There's just really not much to love about them even if not all of them are bad; they're just boring. I like vehicles which have excellence in a few key areas rather than trying to be everything at once. Not to mention US tanks in general definitely fail in the aesthetics department in my eyes.

The same love-hate relationship I have with Horten and his specific flight model.

Sometimes everything goes amazing well, but sometimes I lose patience to the lack of rudder and just cant correct aim despite excellent position for kill.

Add to that nerfed Mk-103 30 mm accuracy..it's a very accurate cannon when instaled in all other planes, but in Horten it act like a shotgun.
Random spread combined with a low rate of fire causes lack of kill despite you did everything perfect.

Tanks: the comet, i love the vehicle but there is one thing that completely ruins it for me, the awfull reverse that kills me over and over. 

 

Planes: American planes, not that they are bad but more that i am Flying my little 109e and i am facing 1942 f4u's. Or Flying my meteor f3, hello b57 and f84..... Just that stupidly low br of American planes.

Used to hate the IS-6 with a passion but now I dont see it as much anymore after the patch and feel 7.3 is perfect as my conqueror can give it a good run for its money.  I hated it before because of constant uptiers from 6.0 in which nothing could pen it frontally.  Also because almost half the enemy Russian team had them so flanking them was out of the question.

Hated plane: Ki-109, damn this broken, over br'd piece of floral to hell. plus (almost) all of the jets... strangely the only jet I do like is the Kikka

 

Hated Tank: *Add rank 4, 5, 6 here* Again, strangely the only rank 4 or above I liked is the M41A1... I have no idea why (I'm really neutral on Tiger 2's, as I haven't played them for literally over a year)

Now, if I had to add a hated tank I actually play/played... I'd say Chi-Ri II/ST-A1 or Archer/3 inch gun carrier. just... ugh

The A34 Comet 1 tank. I could never get that tank to work for me. No matter what ammo I used on it, for some reason the shells always bounced.

I do like the Cromwells and Centurions though.

For me its probably lower tier Russian planes. I like the planes themselves they look and fly beautifully its the ammo count I don't like. I need to fly US because I can spray and pray 

I guess that tells you how good of a pilot I am

The newer Italian fighters.

 

When the Italian tech tree came out, lots of veterans played low tier to grind the tree. And I got clubbed something fierce.

 

I refuse to fly them and will kill them every chance I get. Though I usually end up getting killed. Because I'm not very good.
