We already have some very nice nose art / emblems / decals ingame, and we all know you have much more important work to do,

like working on FMs / bugs / ground forces / ships...

It would be very nice if you could bring some of the following nose art to War Thunder as well - when you find the time. :salute:

Indeed this would be awesome, can we have some exception of decal placing to properly get them on our nose? I'm not meaning extra decal slot, what I do mean is to be able to properly apply decals to fit on the plane's nose.

USS Princeton's VF-27 was famous for something very rare in the Navy - prominent squadron nose-art.  They painted their Hellcats with a huge cat mouth

that wrapped around the front of the aircraft where the oil and supercharger scoops formed the "grin" shape, and massive, bloodshot eyes.

Wow Duxford, lived there as a kid in the mid 70's.

Sat in some iconic planes there in various states of renovation... :yes:

109, Spitfire, Lancaster, B17(sally B) to name but a few.

It was living there that got me into flying in the first place. :salute:

Zaneboy also opened the thread New BF109 F4/trop desert skin a while ago, I've taken the images from that thread, as I very much as well would like to see those in game!

Another favorite of mine who sadly at the moment has to make due with a very klutzy rendition: the A20G Havoc. Currently we have two rather dull skins, I propose these, since the Model has to be redone anyway.

 

And of course we can't have an allied aircraft without at least one set of invasion stripes, now can we?

To my mind comes immediately the american Tier 11 P-63 C-5 Kingcobra. 

 

Those yellow stripes will most likely cause eye cancer over time, PLEEEEEEASE give us some other skin!
