3. 100 GE Crew training boost for new Bomber (gotta get those gunners up to speed) or Tank crews.

 

That's it in my opinion. Maybe a Talisman on a vehicle you love when they are on sale, though they have very limited use. If you have more disposable income then maybe consider skins and research boosts. Buying SL is not worth it, use a premium vehicle instead.

Can anyone tell me what is a really good use of 1000GE for someone who can't get much GE in long periods of time, so please don't say 'save up and get more money' because I won't get any more money. I am planning on getting the 1st Govt T-34 which comes with 1000GE.

I can't say something to Air Forces but for the Ground Forces.

I would wait for the sale and buy 1 or 2 talisman for a tier 4 tank with that you can also boost your tier 5 research.

Depending on which nation tanks you like to play I would suggest one or two of the following:

USSR: T-34-85, IS-2

US: T25, M36 (two of the best 5.7 tanks in game after the Cent. mk. 1 imo). The T92 would also be a good choice, a tank which you will use in many line ups BR 6.7+. If you like light tanks and it is not such a long way to grind.

UK: Every Centurion especially the Cent. mk. 1 or the Caernarvon. The Comet 1 is also worth to mention, like other "light tanks" you will have it in many line ups. But it is only tier 3.

GER: I personally liked the Panther in the past but atm. I would not suggest them. My latest experience is based on the T-V (Panther A at 5.7 in the USSR tree). Maybe someone else can say more about the GER tree.

Thanks for the tip. I am close to getting the Fv4202, so I am curious if its worth getting its own talisman? I was personally thinking of getting a premium aircraft, but a talisman sounds like a really good idea.

It depends if they will change BRs. We will see it at the time the patch is released or short time after that. Assuming the BRs stay as they are I prefer the Cent. mk.1. The FV4202 is a good tank but the reverse speed isn't good. At the time you play the FV4202 and you like it, sure. You can use the Cent. mk.1 in an 5.7 line up next to the Comet, if you need a break from "6.7/6.3" and you can use it still in an 6.7/6.3 line up next to the Cent. mk.3 or later the Caernarvon. You get much more for your money and a really enjoyable tank.

A talisman will not change how MM puts you in battles. I would just use the GE on a premium vehicle during the upcoming anniversary sale around November 1st.

buying silver or converting xp is big mistake.both things are way too costly. in any F2P games, always try to avoid buying things that are not permanent.

 

for that much money, i would wait for WT anniversary celebration in November,where everything is on 50% sale and i'll buy 1 year of prem time or buy 50% discount talisman on t4-5 vehicles in each nation or BOTH

premium planes are costly, but buying 1 t4 prem in each nation is not bad idea when they are on at least 50% discount.

I have never bought Premium Time but I have had it probably about about 85 percent of the time I have played or more.

 

That's because I usually buy the bundles when they are on sale.  Especially when they combine a bunch of bundles together into mega bundles.

 

There is usually enough Premium Time in those to last me until the next sale comes along to add to it.  Plus they include GE that you can use to get some more Premium Vehicles.

 

Here is a Mega Bundle they did last December that I got which gave you a 70 percent discount as an example.

The Calliope is a easy kill from the air and ground.  Most die before they get to fire their first rocket.  Do not buy SL... why would you buy earnable currency that is easily available?  Talismans, tanks, and a premium account when the 5th anniversary sale starts.

USA, P47N Talisman, M36 Talisman (avoids IS6)

GER; He 219, Panther II Talisman

USSR; T34-85 Talisman, Yak9P Talisman

UK; Cent Mk1 Talisman, Spit LF Mk.9 Talisman

japan; None of the Tier 4 tanks are easy to grind with, Ki 84 Ko Talisman

Italy; Bf109 G14/AS Talisman

 

From my experience these are the easiest to grind with and are effective ranks I-V but not VI, so bare that in mind.

Allright,i have 3640 GE and i'm thinking of getting either the Tiger (P) or the Brümmbar when they go on sale,but i also want to spend the spare GE on bushes...i'm not really sure...any help on what should i do?

DISCLAIMER:  Im not saying that you should or should not buy anything in this game. Always buy what makes you happy. This is intended as a guide for newer players to get the most out of their money spent during the november sale.

 

Im lately seeing a lot of questions like ''what should i buy'' on the forums because of the upcoming sale. Well, here are my experiences from spending 500 dollars on the game.

 

Rank 1-2: Premium vehicles are the way to go at this rank. Its not worth buying a talisman for a regular tech tree vehicle of this rank because you will skip this rank very fast during the grind. The point of buying such vehicles is purely for their uniqeness.

 

Rank 3: Its kind of hard to tell for this rank. I would say that the regular tech tree has a lot of good alternatives to same rank premium vehicles, but there are some very good and very special alternatives like the german 76mm KV. On the other hand buying a pretty expensive pack for i.e. the Black cat doesnt add up since u get a talisman for almost the same vehicle on the tech tree for only around 1000GE. Its more a matter of personal preference.

 

Rank 4: To be honest, currently its a pretty bad investment to buy any tier 4 premium vehicle (excluding planes) if you dont have at least a 50% discount on them, vehicles that are part of a pack like the IS-6, Tiger 2 Sla, T29 and so on are currently a big no no. Why you ask? Well, if you buy a tier 4 premium only for grinding, you've spent 40 dollars on a tank that wont be able to research tier 6 without a massive 0.4% penalty. 40 Think about it, for 40 dollars you can buy around 7500 GE, that the equivalent of almost 6 tier V talismans during the sale or 3 tier V talisman without the sale which are able to grind you through every tier 4,5 and 6 tank in a matter of weeks. I'd say a talisman is a much better way to get you to tier 5/6. I own the Tiger 2 Sla, Ru251, T29, T-34-85E and IS-6 and must say it was a very poor decision to buy them IMHO.

 

Rank 5: Well, where to start. Keep in mind that premium vehicles of this tier cost 50 dollars. Thats 10.000 GE. To make things worse, all of these are very specialized tanks that have a big learning curve which makes them very frustrating to play for people without massive amounts of experience. Which means players like that already unlocked most if not all tier 5 tanks, and many of these vehicles are much better at grinding, more user friendly and 5 times cheaper to talisman than premium tier 5 tanks. Of course if you want something very unique than a tank like the Object 120 with Stallin's  personal cannon is the way to go.

 

 

Some very important notes would be:

 

PREMIUM TIME IS THE BEST THING YOU CAN BUY. It has the highest bang for the buck value of anything in the game.

 

WE STILL DONT KNOW WHAT BUNDLES WILL BE ON SALE! I.E. last year for the official release, bundle discounts were so massive, that their value overshadowed any amount of talismans or GE. For example, you could buy a bundle containing several tier 4 and tier 3 premium tanks and planes with a big amount of GE and months worth of premium time with a 75% discount. Such a deal gives you almost a complete tier 4 premium lineup, catapulting your way to tier 5 with ease.
