As WWII progressed, Germany was forced to desperately cobble together whatever armored vehicles it could to get them onto the field of battle. One such vehicle was the Panzerjager IB mit StuK 40 L/48, a tank hunter based on the chassis of the old Panzer I Ausf.B light tank and mounting a 7.5cm StuK 40 gun from a StuG tank destroyer. This vehicle is believed to be a one-off field conversion that appeared late in the war, with photographic evidence placing it in the vicinity of Berlin.

I myself did not believe at all that this tank destroyer really existed
By reading this book he took part in the defense of Berlin

On this site he explains that 5 Panzer II B in all one is used like prototypes between 1941 and 1942 for different test of gun from 5.0 cm to 7.5 cm one between them received a gun of 5.0 cm PAK 38

Does anyone know how much ammo it stowed?

Given that it was an act of desperation, not likely very much.

The Sdkfz140/4 "PakWagen" was much better than any of these, roughly similar in overall crew space, and the thing only could carry 13 rounds for a Pak40.

Sdkfz 140/4 does not carry a Pak 40

Here is the true color of the vehicle
It is that towards the end of the war the Germans to defend Berlin of the attacks of the Russians and Americans have found of the solutions of rescue with tanks of reserves and especially prototype tanks that took part in the fights and even tanks of the First World War that were requisitioned at the Berlin Museums
This tank destroyer was previously the 4.7cm PaK (t) (Sf) auf Panzerkampfwagen I
The barrel was changed urgently to put a 7.5cm gun StuK 40 L / 48 recover on a destroyed Stug III.
One could say that a prototype of emergency of German manufacture
