Countermeasures against forbidden modifications.

Best answer

There is no need to record and post replays with gameplay of players you suspect for using 3rd party apps. We will appreciate if you report them via server replay functionality on our main website.

The goal is to have a nice honest play. That is the fun.

If somene cheats "just once" or "by accident" or even "didn't meant to" deserves nothing but ban. Some of the banished ones I recognise them and I have reported them. Glad to see that the staff is reading the reports. Pay to hack brings only Pay to get banned. Serves them right.

I feel no sympathy for people that cheat on their own accounts...that being said I've put in a support ticket with evidence as my account was compromised I mean why would I start using forbidden mods after six years of never using them.

583!! Wow!
Looks like the Cheaters are rising like amoebas!
I wish that they all have a lot of Premium Vehicles, GE and Prem Time!
And that it really hurts to loose their Accounts.
Thx to all the Players who are watching dozens of Replays to find these guys and help to get them banned via the report system.

The person I reported via the Server Replay system whom just made the list, feimolingdalao,' had indeed spent LOTS of real money purchasing Premium vehicles.

I have a question.

I was watching some content creators and they were using a sound mod, it sounded great, so I downloaded the mod.

I haven't installed it yet, because I am unsure whether this would breach the rules and get my account banned.

Q. Is it ok to install third party sound mods?

Again with this list I see names I recognize, and it's good to see I didn't imagen it when something funky was going on with these players....and seeing them banned brings a big smile to my face:DD:lol2:

I also think it would be a good thing (so these players will never have an excuse for using the forbidden mods) if Gaijin took a look at the approved mods for the game, pick the best/most liked parts of these mods and put them in as features/options as part of the game.

What I don't understand is the  choice made by some players to use restricted modifications.   There is no demonstration of skill in it.  There is no sense of fair play.  And worst of all, there is no honor in it. What does it say about these players as people? I feel a some pity for them, in that they have to cheat to feel good about themselves.  So sad.  Not everyone can be the best.  The goal is always to try to become better at what you do by developing skill. Long list this month.  Sad.

It is easy to understand if you ever were (and I can pretty surely say you have) in a situation where you are tempted to steal something, but moral compass tells you not to, and you just abstain from doing it. Same goes for playing something where it feels so unfair and miserable to play when you have a bad day or a week, or you want to play, but you suck so bad...it is very tempting to try to get some bypasses or workarounds in illegal way, and their moral compasses are working pretty xxxx and they easily give up to their temptations.

They fall for it since they are immature, not meant as an offense, but...they just don't realize that doing something bad while not understanding what they are doing will get them caught sooner or later, the same idea like lying...lies can be easily uncovered/exposed sooner or later, one way or another, unless you are a master at it and you can lie in a way that you have taught about every possible outcome that might come where you can get exposed for being a liar. The bigger the lie, the bigger the chance of it being exposed.

Out of this list, 3 people actually have the word "CHEAT" in their nickname. Not the brightest bulbs in the box, are they?

Yes, they are without honor, the same as spawncampers and rock clippers.... but that's for another thread ;)

Sorry to say, but "skill", "fair play", "honor" are notions which are foreign to those cheaters. And I hate to say it, but my guess is that the malevolent attitude of people in what is just a game probably does not bode well for their behavior in real life.

  • 3 weeks later...

From today, 464 additional accounts have been permanently banned for using third-party modifications in violation of the user agreement - use of prohibited modifications. (EULA).

The introduction of the reporting system has again proved key in allowing players to participate in keeping the game clear of players who insist on trying to gain unfair advantage. The modification detection algorithm continues to improve.

List of banned players:

Having an account permanently banned will result in a player losing everything in that account - Be warned! Thank you guys for your vigilance. o7

Is there a chance you could add player level at their nickname if that ain't too much hassle?

Just curious whether a veteran is going rogue or are these relatively new players frustrated with grind :D

Nope we will not add such info as you can check it by yourself :)
