Yes & No

 

Yes - new carriers will arrive to game / maybe in player's scenario too

No - new carriers will be a dummy object / not playable ships (as carriers we have now)

 

BTW. Good question to WT team: will the graphics of old carriers update at incoming patch?

I have some 3 suggestions...

1. - Implementing a bell-ring sound when the cannons are loaded ! I reckon it was actually like this in main warships.

 

2. - Implementing another similiar ring bell when the shots are about to land on the enemy ships , to add to the "chronometer timing" - I remember watching docs and there was this too... The guy laying crew in that case knew their shot was about to land. 

3. - Add the effect of the wind - this truly will make shooting more realistic on large distances - there could be an indicator inside the aiming system to tell from which side and at which speed the wind is blowing.

1. Remove or severely limit bombers, which now rule the naval gameplay (and ground as well). You don't have a chance against an experienced bomber pilot...none whatsoever and it is unfair. 

2. Limit battleships, so they are not matched with light cruisers and below tiers which don't stand a chance against them (and don't mention torpedoes..they just hide behind small islands from them...)

3. Naval game matches are too long for the rewards that given.   Give more rewards for naval matches...

4. Difficult to aim and drive at the same time. Ships run into each other or into islands all the time. Helmsman view window at the bottom of the screen (with smaller resolution of course) would be nice to have. This would solve the problem once and for all.

5. Left mouse button also changes the target and sometimes this causes problem (I checked the control settings, no :  When you aim before a moving ship and there is another ship at that spot, it will target that ship right after you click left mouse. You will have to click back on the previous target and wait for the range measure.

6.Hillarious repair prices at higher tiers..ok, these need to change

7. Remove "I win buttons" such as Shimakaze and MIkuma

First i was in rage, wanted to create full topic with poll etc etc than i realize, its Warthunder perfect logic (and most fanbois gonna fanboi)

 

Who would win

SMS Helgoland - Battleship with no AA  OR The F-84B-26 Thunderjet with 8 x HVAR rockets + 2 x 1,000 lb AN-M65A1 bombs (2,000 lb total)  ??

 

what the glorious bright idea to put 1910 ships VS Jets, just because BR allowes it ? i think its plain stupid, nothing else 

 

 

not to mention even if you using AA in manual mode in ship battle its just impossible to hit something (meanwhile bots shooting like crazy and are on float even with 20% boyancy)

the use of secondary weapons by players is a wonderful addition. even though i thought it was suppose to be like that since the beginning even having control of aa when we wanted to, but this is step in right direction. just that we need the secondary weapon ammo count and ammo type shown at the bottom of the screen like the main ammo count and ammo type.

but this addition gives you something to do in between longer reload of the main armament and deepens the game play. great change :goodsnail:
