The Jagdtiger fought in only two Heavy Antitank Battalion (schwere Panzerjäger-Abteilung 512 and 653)

The game have the real insignia of 653, but the decal of inadequate 512.

I found a source what show two example from the 653th Battalion insignia
No.3 on right side the front armour and right side on rear armour, but I don't found picture too from these

Here is the No.323 Jagdtiger, but I don't see the unit insignia on the front armour

P.S.Sorry ,but I changed up the schwere Panzerjäger-Abteilung 512 and 653!!! I corrected!!!!

the Japanese "島" (Japanese kanji of Island) decal - Shimakawa Masaaki

Tainan kokutai (Tainan Air Group) and 204 kokutai (204th Air Group) of Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN)

on two side of fulsage of A6M2 on the Japanese roundel - white painting

 

the Japanese "104th sentai" decal -  historically not entirely credible now - This was a simple one colour outline without a fill colour

two side of tail of Ki-44 - in full silver colour

and

the unit used Ki-84s too, but these plane got another insignia (this is the known) - in silver colour or green painting

German "II./JG 77" (eagle watching the sea) decal - Bf 109E, F versions and I don't found picture from it with insignia, but the unit used G version too.

"No.30 Squadron" RAAF decal - This isn't correct! The real unit was the No.31 Squadron.

British "804 Naval Air Squadron" decal - I search this insignia, but I found pictures only from the post-war era

but the unit used Gladiators, Fairey Fulmars (isn't ingame plane), Sea Hurricans, Wildcats and Hellcats too in the WW2, if want somebody...

I saw the new Battle Task reward and here is the information to it.

the German "Stab/StG 3 Scorpio" decal - the unit used Ju 87R, He 111 and some Bf 110

I searched this insignia on internet and in books and from other source, but I don't found historical picture from it. I found only models with this insignia.

on the usual place, behind the nose canopy on two side of He 111 - with desert paint

 

BUT

Here is another insignia of this Stab or headquarter on same place.

 

 

and on a Ju 87 on an illustration - the unsual place under/before the canopy

Allied white star on Shermans - The US troops don't used the white star all time. Some Sherman was without roundel.

The two usual place was on the two side of case and/or turret (mainly on turret) and lower part on the front armour

 

this stars were mixed with the circle version

 

 

 

here was the star on the center of front armour

 

the allied Shermans used white stars on the top of turret and or engine bonnet because the allied air support

the German "JG 5 Eismeer" (As the name Eismeer (Ice Sea) implies, it was created to operate in the far North of Europe, namely Norway, Scandinavia and northern parts of Finland, all nearest the Arctic Ocean)

German "JG 52" decal - the unit used Bf 109 E, F and G versions only and the insignia was same/similar place on these planes

under the canopy on two side of fulsage - here is a Bf 109 E

and I found an illustration (without original picture) from a later G version, what used this insignia on the two side of nose

 

and the German sub unit the "6./JG 52" with the big eagle, what cover the plane engine with its wing (missing a blue outline from the ingame decal)

on two side of nose - this insignia was in service at Bf 109 E versions only

I saw the new decals, what will be Halloween winnings. I show now these on historical pictures.

Allied "Phantom of the Ruhr" decal on left side of nose of a Lancaster Mk III - Joseph C. Hutcheson's plane - No.550 Squadron - RAF

This is another RAF decal, but this is a usable nice nose art to the Lancaster.

Allied "VF-27" decal - usable on two side of nose of Hellcat - US Navy fighter squadron

a specialty to the French players - German tank captured by French troops - these examples from "L'escadron autonome Besnier"  especially

 

French roundel on two side of case of Panzer IV J - usable the Greman camouflage painting - these captured tanks wore French inscriptions too

 

on the sides of barrel shield of Panther - good look the nickname "DAUPHIN" on the side of case at engine

 

 

this tank wore the German cross too on the side of turret

 

or on the two side of turret - good look the French tricolor on the barrel

another version was with the "2nd Armored Division" insignia - a huge on the front armour and a smaller on the two side of turret

 

 

and with the "Free French Forces" insignia on the two side of turret - nickname on the barrel "Kaysersberg"

I saw the decal in the new battle task.

US Air Force "635th Bombardment Squadron" decal - this nose art was on a A-24B-1-DO (isn't ingame) land-based SBD-5 Dauntless with the usual green painting

 

So now this decal unusable historically!!

The 635th Bomber Squadron attended in the:

Battle of Kiska

and after it, the 407th Bomb Group with this squadron disbanded in August 1943.

I saw another possibility if somebody don't like this decal - A Battle Trohpy with older Task winning decals

the list:

the US Army "Ghost Army" decal - this unit wasn't a fighter unit and I don't found picture, where a vehicle wear this insignia

 

the British "No.1831 Naval Air Squadron" decal - the squadron used Corsairs (British isn't ingame) in the WW2. The F4Us replaced with Seafire Mk XV and XVII and Sea Fury, Firefly Mk I again later. I don't found picture, where these planes use this insignia, but the first British naval jet used it.

under the canopy on left side of Seafire Mk III (isn't ingame)

 

these planes in this unit used full Royal Navy camouflage painting

USAF "Berlin Express" inscription - William Bruce "Bill" Overstreet Jr from 363rd Fighter Squadron

two version were in this inscription, but the ingame decal historically inaccurate
under the exhaust on two side of nose of P-51C (isn't ingame) - different red colour, different font and a locomotive art over it

 

later on another P-51B plane (isn't ingame) in full green colour - different yellow colour, different font
