[0038576] [1.55.2.103] F-86F-2 T-160 cannon should not have API-T

3 posts in this topic

The current T-160 cannons on the F-2 in game currently have the following ammuntion available

  • Ball (practice)
  • API
  • HEFI
  • API-T

However the T-160's involved in the Project GUNVAL Sabre's did not have access to API-T ammunition, which was sorely requested by the pilots of the program (which can be read in the GUNVAL pilot summaries) during and after combat trials. The API-T was not developed until well after the conflict in Korea was over with as shown below. The current API rounds however should leave a smoke trace

The correct ammunition for the T-160's would be

  • Ball
  • API (with a white smoke trace)
  • HEI
