Hello fellow War Thunder'ers

I suggest a new tank to be implemented as a premium for the British tree. Since another commonwealth tank, the Sentinel (Australian) has been announced as a premium for the British tree, I think it would only be fair to add a New Zealand tank, the Bob Semple Tank. It would be a tier 1 vehicle, armed with 6 Bren Machine Guns. " The crew of eight included one gunner who had to lie on a mattress on top of the engine to fire his Bren gun"

It was only armed with light machine guns? It was not a AA-tank, so with that armament theres not much it could do in game.

At tier 1?

It can kill relatively easily...

4M GAZ AAA
72-K GAZ
ZiS-30
SU-57
SU-76 (ish)
MGC M13
MGC M16
Flakpanzer 38(t) Gepard
Sd.Kfz 6/2
M3 GMC

That being a rough list of things it can kill at tier 1, reasonable suitable.

However if this tank entered full production I heard it would have had a 37 mm (or a 2 pdr). Which would make this semi viable... but it still has issues.

Good lord, that's not a tank, that's a Wallace And Gromit abortion.

Should give the Japanese a run for their money, though.

Still better off than the Disston tractor tank

reportedly the prototype was built in 2 hours from scrap

it could be an effective secret weapon... when it appears the opposing team simply laughs itself to death

Another NZ tank that is actually functional. I would like the Bob and semple tank as well, I already suggested it a lot earlier in the forums ^^

To Lunatic242,

I hope this day finds you well. I am quoting you because I want to know what in the name of God's green earth is going on in that picture.

Sincerely,

It's a whee-XXX-track tank. Can change its running mechanism between wheels (for strategic road movement) and tracks (for tactical battle movement).

It couldn't do it on the fly in battle though, so it'd likely just be the tracked setup for in game. It's a perfect rank 1 though. Give the Kiwi's some recognition!

i doubt they'd only add machine guns, they'd likely use the gun it was originally planned for: the 37mm cannon, making it possibly viable
