If so your top speeds are wrong. 1700 bhp WEP @ SL should give it a stop speed of 290mph 274mph+ (274mph @ 100%) IAS not 269mph.

 

corrected Vmax:

SL: 290mph IAS

6,700ft: 302mph (@ 1500bhp. I assume its still in a low blower state)

9,800ft: 297mph (high blower. 1700bhp)

13k: 304mph

15k: 310mph

20k: 292mph

25k: 255mph

 

EDIT: noticed gaijins in for a 1x1000lb bomb load. so its actually around 274mph (@ 100%)

A few issues when looking at it

  • I don't know why the Vmax being used is for the heavier weight at a lower altitude (should be calculated from condition #1)
  • Vmax at SL using normal power should be 253 mph
  • Vmax at 13400 feet using normal power should be 278 mph
  • Propellor diameter is wrong (should be 12 feet)
  • Military power (1700 HP) should be between SL and 3000 feet (currently 1700 HP at 5500 feet)
  • Military power (1450 HP) should be between 7800 and 12000 feet (currently 1470 HP at 13500 feet)
  • Normal power (1500 HP) should be between SL and 5800 feet (currently 1500 HP from SL to 6700 feet)
  • Time to altitude looks wrong as well
  • Where are you getting those weights from?
