The entire fuselage looks exactly like a hurricane... hold on *checks wikipedia hurricane#variants*

A mistake

Idea wasn't that bad. In fact, design is also not that bad, considering what was expected from this aircraft.

NARROW IT DOWN!

Photo quality is crap so it's deffo before 1980. And having such a wide and short turbojet ABOVE the center of mass would be making a second WT OS2U, so it for 95% uses a turbofan, especially that before turbofans became common, jets were usually actual reasonably-sized airliners and not aircraft that are clearly made specifically for STOL performance.

Once you got to this point, answer is obvious.

Weird.

Whatever this is, it either doesn't exist on wikipedia, or is not categorized properly there - it's not part of the "backwards-stagger biplanes" category.

I swear I thought that this aircraft is unmanned and 10 times smaller than it really is!!!

Yep, Belphegor. However, it's not the only jet biplane. Before it was romanian Coanda 1910.

The coanda 1910 was not a jet, but a ducted fan. And there is no proof that it actually flew.

//EDIT: Oh yeah we have no idea what it is. All we know that it was made by a human... Or was it? :crab:

Not really. We're not sure what it was, as there's not really much info about it. Still Coanda 1910 could be jet biplane.
