War Thunder Top Skins Of The Month Competition February

sVET.jpg

Dear Players!

Welcome to our new Top Skins of the month competition.

Each week a panel of official judges, chosen from the team, will vote on the top 5 skins submitted each week and the winners will receive 500 Golden eagles for being placed in the top 5. Every week 5 new winners will be drawn and at the end of the month, the judges will vote on the top 3 of the month from the 20 winners throughout the month and those winners will earn 1500 GE each!

Top three skins of the month will be chosen for following categories:

1. Historical Skin (any historically correct skin - aircraft / tank)

2. Historical Ace Skin (any historically correct skin related to ww2 ace - aircraft / tank)

3. Non-historical Skin (anything creative enough to get our attention)

Please post creative, unique, historical or very special skins only. If you post something ridiculous like a bright rainbow skin, your skin will not even be considered. We will be choosing more historical and special skins. You are free to post skins for both planes and tanks.

Rules:

  • You may submit a maximum of 2 skins per month.

  • Include the category of your skin, title of your skin and if desired, a brief description of it.

  • All skins must be uploaded to our live.warthunder site with the link to your skin added to your entry.

  • Entries containing swastikas, SS division symbols, profanity, vulgar symbols, etc. will not be accepted.

Note:

  • If a skin submission has previously won, it will no longer be accepted in future weekly selections.

SEMI-HISTORICAL / CREATIVE SKIN

USMC F7F1 "King Of The Cats" , VMF-312, circa 1946.

"King Of The Cats" is an F7F belonging to the Palm Springs Air Museum. Currently the aircraft is painted in Navy colors.  However, "King Of The Cats" served with four different Marine squadrons during her operational career, VMF-312 being the first. This skin depicts the aircraft during that period.

Historical for MiG 3_1_15

It's been long debated whether Red-2 had red or green wings, there are compelling arguments on both sides regarding the one famous B&W photo taken on March 7, 1942, of the 120th IAP - Moscow Air Defense, so I've included both versions.
