Please post your Linux system configs. settings and FPS results

Anyone had a issue where aces stalls at like 180-190MB loaded into memory? I've been trying to get this working for past half hour but it just stalls no matter what. I generated a new config file but no luck.

It does eventually just close the aces process by itself after several minutes. No log output in terminal either.

Very odd behavior, wondering if there is some issue with latest nvidia drivers causing this?

UPDATE: Nevermind, just steam being a xxxx, a reboot resolved it.

Jungle tanks 30fps, 4k medium settings, 1080ti, pretty shocking.

Lots of graphics pop in and z-fighting, huge fps swings from 20-60 at any msec of play making it very unpleasant. Basically like being on a LAPTOP iGPU again.

Everything changed with this last update. Seems as if it automatically uses Vulkan now.

Ryzen 3700X w/ [email protected] gave me 60fps max before with OpenGL and Vulkan just didn't work properly.

But with Dagor 6.0 and the driver still set to auto I get TSS, gunner cockpits and around 100 - 150 fps in game.

Have you confirmed that the game is using your dedicated GPU? :dntknw:

Might be unlikely, but still.

I am having issues getting the launcher to run. I am using the latest mesa-vulkan-radeon drivers under Arch with a Vega64.....and I can't get the launcher to run...I keep getting "Unsupported Video Driver" popup. I have tried switching to different drivers such as RADV and AMDGPUPRO (official amd closed source drivers) all with no luck same message....what can I do?

Only have 1 GPU in computer.

Also this data is pre patch so is based on OpenGL which in certain light looks and runs decent until you really invest time in and you notice OpenGL just runs horribly on average.

You can't determine that by playing a single game or running benchmarks as they give false impressions, some maps were fine in OpenGL for example, while others were just terrible performance. Sometimes you look 1 direction and get 100fps and look another and get 25fps!

OpenGL is no longer the default Linux api, so hopefully vulkan api will continue to be worked on.

So I am waiting for parts to come as my other PC was putting out γ{\displaystyle \gamma } \gamma rays.

I got a deal on a  gallium copper heats lidded i9  10850k for 400$ after tax and shipping.   I put a RTX 3080 in it as I sold my old graphics card a rtx 2080 OC for 600...   THe RTX 3080 was $750.   It had the  most value to me  and best technology from my perspective with Gddr6X memory.    I slapped it in a mini  ASUS PrimeM  - Plus they had for 150 bucks  at   computer store...  I put one of them  AIO liquid coolers from ebay for $99.    I tryed to cancel because they're not that good, but I figured it would take months for liquid cooling parts to get to me , so I installed it anyway.     I had to mount  it on the  outside.

s-l1600.jpg

It has USB 2.0 which is noce beecuase I  have a lot  of old usb 2.0 hubs and devices.

Initial reactions were good...    I  can get it to overclock pretty nicely....  SO far video encoding and streaming hasn't been too good, but for straight gaming it is great.  Streaming  was alright the other day.    But OC the processor   change BCLK to 110 and leave everything at auto OC profle II  and Turbo  Boost 3.0; you get thunder  show  like quality with my 4k 60 hz monitor here that I have been using for years.   It's just like the video's.   In terms of how smooth everything is, but that is  as high as you can go  or stuff stops working.

IT is no thread ripper, but not bad for only pci 3.0!

RTX 3080 can hold a clock of 2.1GHZ if you add 200 to the gpu clock off set, but that isn't necessary.

No \gamma rays  either like my last 2 computers.  So I can sit here and actually focus.   If my neighbors below me aren't using their 5G hotspot and blasting me with microwaves.

Another time I was feeliong an intense energy and there was this big bright light in the sky above the city like 1500' in the air 1/2 mile away shining towards me...   I  tried to get a camera to photograph it together,   Took me like 10 mins to find the battery which was dead and it was gone.  In coming  airplane?  Airplanes land in the other direction  though.  Either way I was laying in bed before that and the entire bedroom was pulsing and sizzling with this  intense energy.   THis is B.S.  They're all like well you can't prove it.  I'm really sicka nd it is not Covid 19...  I do n't have Covid.  It is radiation sickness and I am going to get csickel cell anemia and other radiation sickness related illness. It is one of those things where I am going to die, and the local government has something to do with it.   These people here think they can get away with anything.  I  grew up here and i am not surprised at all that this is happening.   The people here have weak  souls and do the same boring thing  over and over again, but they control everything in the region.  It was bound to happen that they would make  a move to keep their power because they are inferior to your  average person.   They just want to take it easy all the time, and it has  probably  been like this for 1000's of years.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/intel-core-i9-10850k-rtx-3080-1-25tb-m-2-2280-ssd-24gb-RAM-Workstation-gaming/203228893289

If anyone wants to meet me in Cincinnati I'll cut a deal down  to  $1900 and 1700 3 weeks from now.   because ebay gets 12% and I don't need a gaming pc.   I can only get one RTX  3080 every month and I am waiting on a new cooler for that thread ripper.

**  This is with no aa and nvidia-settings ×16 anistropy

**  Also I dont normally OC processors, so there is probaly some more performance to be had here.  If you noticed the cpu was at 45 degrees....   That means it can go higher.   Probably have to turn off turbo boost and what not....    But the game ran fine so not going to that.   Itll crash everyonce in awhile, but only after soul crushing defeats.  And it loads up fast enough and is responsive enough that this is negligible.  I have to put bclk back to 100 from 110 to encode video or it will freeze the kernel.

This is way better than RTX 2080 3960x i had before.  Curious how the 3080 will do in there when cooler arrives.  Much more smoother, no freezes and responsiveness.

**  I haven't put any internal fans in it yet either.  There is also an auxillary 4 pin cpu power hookup that needs to be filled.  I put a 1600watt Shark psu in it, and those are good any where from 90 — 240v so in this modern world of green energy and un-healthy electricity grid this psu will deliver stable power through anything.  It was what I used in that thread ripper build and was great there so I got another one.

I don't know where you live, was it Russia?  Also radiation poisoning and exposure is SUPER easy to prove, not only with blood checks but also electronic testing.

Also a 5G hotspot is not going to give you xxx dude (seriously gaijin censored the canc word), unless your literately sitting on top of a commercial emitter with no pants for hours at end!

Tell me, do you happen to smoke weed or take drugs recreationally? I do sometimes wonder about some of your comments..   I'll be off now, gotta log all this at the gov office, all part of the keep track of certain someone's program :-p

Upgraded to the Xanmod 5.10.8 kernel and Mesa 21 rc2. Didn't note which kernel I was using previously, probably vanilla 5.10.7.

Pacific War (day)

No I do not.  I got pummeled in the side ofbthe head in April of 2019 and have been recovering from severe concussion to rugh temporal lobe and right hemisphere in general.

And they can not test for radiation poisoning.  Radiation Poisoning is being beemed with electrons and particles to the point that your body is damaged...   There is no way to test for this.   I bought a good Russian Geiger counter and have found many abnormalitys with my equipment.   I have sold a lot too.

#1  computers or discrete circutry do not emit any for of ionizing radiation such as gamma, x, beta, or alpha....   so if anything is detected at all this means the presence of unstable nuclear isotopes being present.  The increase of back ground radiation along with intoxicating effects and death of plants means the presence of Radon or some form...   Something unstable nuclear isotope found its way in to my electronics and heat effects this from b use.   I suspect Americium from smoke detector perhaps....   but w/o the ability to conduct further tests...   Who knows what it is.   All i can say Is that it is deadly.

I live in the mob control of S.W. Ohio.   They just do what ever they want here.  I am getting ready to fire up my 3960x after i get a gpu for it after returning it to AMD for to much radiation.   People here will deny anything even with physical proof so it is for my own personal saftey.

I had abunch of tumors in my upper body and head that went as fast as they came about a month ago.  Still a lump under my chin that has been there a month that has subsided but not gone away like the others.  To hard to just be a normal zit.

Its not just radiation, but that is just a by product of the toxic gas thatnis emitting from my equipment.

This how it works.  Im just an ant expected to produce for these people.  They would never waste energy on me trying to help.  This for some sort of punishment that I know not what of.  They would never help me.  it is not my place.  They suck the life out of me, but would never undo it.

I dont understand why evryone is so surprised.  This stuff happens all the time.

https://www.nytimes.com/1994/04/11/us/cold-war-radiation-test-on-humans-to-undergo-a-congressional-review.html

Now I know why it is called University Hospital.

Stupid shiit happens here everyday, that is constantly being covered up.  Read the history sectionnof this plant...

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fernald_Feed_Materials_Production_Center

https://www.nytimes.com/1988/10/15/us/us-for-decades-let-uranium-leak-at-weapon-plant.html?smid=url-share

Something stupid is always happening here.  Everyday.  They're so stupid here they promoted this guy to salesmen at this ware house job I was at.   He came in and just started whooping at evrything.  Half the people here are completly insane and 75% of the shiit that comes out of these peoples mouths makes absolutly no sense at all.  Always have to do something a shiity way because someone else who is not there whom you'll never see said so.

A trade mark of the city is it's reverse osmosis water purification system.   Says "a city saved by the genius of water" on bridge walk of justice center to county court house, but water quality has gone down hill; everybody knows it.   I grew up here.  As a kid the tap water was great.  In last 5 years it has really gone down hill.  People installing water purifications in basement.  I can't drink it anymore. Makes my insides hurt.  I cant even use it to make coffee.  We all have to filter the drinking water.

I read a water quality report and high levels of caancer causing chromium-6 found in the Ohio river unregulated by the EPA, irregardless of recent degradation of city tap water.

Cincinnati is being run into the ground by abunch of flaiming re-tards.

On another note.   I may accualy have to get a 3090...   I waited in 15 degree weather today and they gave only one 3080 away...   but I have to get a GPU in this 3960x build.  At twice the price at nearly 1900 dollars.   I may accully do it.

That's Fahrenhiet too btw...   idk what celcius is probably -10
