Welcome

Welcome to No.501 recruitment page, here I will tell you a little about the squadron. We are a newly started War Thunder Squadron, we are looking for mature members to come and join us on the front! We will mainly be playing as the British side but will go to other sides in Historical battles because Britain isn't available to choose from yet. We play a lot of Arcade at the moment which is building our skills as pilots. We hope to build a strong member base which then will allow us to perform squadron vs squadron battles, this will test the skills of our formation flying and teamwork to defeat the enemy.

Training

Once we have a regular amount of people, we will then start to organise training where we will practice our skills in formations, dogfighting, bomber escorts and much more.

History

The No. 501 was an actual squadron in WW2 here's some some information about them.

No. 501 Squadron was the fourteenth of the twenty-one flying units in the Royal Auxiliary Air Force, the volunteer reserve part of the British Royal Air Force. The squadron won seven battle honours, flying Hurricane, Spitfire and Tempest fighter aircraft during World War II, and was one of the most heavily engaged units in RAF Fighter Command. In particular, the Squadron saw extensive action during the Battle of France and Battle of Britain.

I'd be interested in joining a reasonably British-based clan. Name's dynopig in-game, as you'd probably guess, if you fancy dropping me a message.
