Arcade Battle Tournament

Saturday 26th April 2014 fly outs start at 20:00 GMT

 

32 teams required for the game

 

Hosted on xfire, come and join in the fun.

 

1st Place 3500 Golden Eagles & a choice of Level 2 fighter GE purchasable premium aircraft for each team member (Up to a maximum of four players)

2nd Place 2500 Golden Eagles to each team member (Up to a maximum of four players)

3rd Place 1500 Golden Eagles to each team member (Up to a maximum of four players)

 

Bring your squadron into the battle, have you and your friends got what it takes? Bring in a team of four, select appropriate level 2 aircraft , and fly against your opponents with three re spawns. Last team standing wins the round.

Tournament RULES are as follows:

• Tournament will be hosted on xfire (all participants have to register there).
• All teams have to show and register themselves and enroll in the tournament on the xfire least 30 minutes before the tournament start.
• Arcade battle 4 vs 4, (designated single-engined / twin-engined fighter planes only), 3 spawns.
• Free choice of nations per team, limitation to level 2 planes single-engined / twin-engined fighter planes only (all planes with following designations: "Fighter", "Heavy Fighter", "Naval Fighter")
• Premium planes are not allowed.
• You are not permitted to use backup plane.
• Opposing teams will be chosen at random by xfire seed generator.
• Map is [Duel] Stalingrad.
• Both teams will spawn at point A and engage immediately, any further spawn must be on point A.
• If a team member spawns at wrong point, they must eject.
• All ammo is allowed.
• It is forbidden to fly away from enemy or try to run and hide, it is permitted to eject.
• If team does not have 4 members it can choose to fight without all members or choose to be "no show".
• Reserve players are permitted but prizes will only be given to a maximum of 4 players per team.
• At minimum, captains of all teams will need to be in TeamSpeak to speak to judges, having all team members on WT TS is encouraged.
• Server to be played on will be chosen by agreement of team captains, if they cannot agree on it, server will be set at random.
• Winner is last standing team or member, ticket bleed is relevant so respawn as fast as you can. If tickets bleed out winner will be decided by that also.
• In game errors (like going back to hanger, game crashes, internet loss etc.) will not have any impact on result of the match. Re-join if you can otherwise the match continues. The only exception to this will be the judges, if a judge is disconnected for whatever reason, then the game will be restarted.
• Judges in all matches will be provided, all quarter, semi and final matches will have judges on both sides. Judges will also host the room. Judges decisions are final.

Administrative changes may be made at any time, the rules may be changed at any time. You will be advised of any changes.

That 3nd was some bad English, corrected ... news will go out later, it is a lot of time until tournament.

indeed, excellent news about the new arcade tournament but the planned date seems a bit awkward as it is the great Saturday of Easter (furthermore this year orthodox and catholic Easters coincide).

I think it will be quite difficult to find members to fill the participating teams.

Would it be possible to postpone it perhaps for another weekend?

Fw-190 A-1, I-16 Type 27 and P-400 are all allowed.
