Option has disappeared. Where is it now. Would not like to fly high tiers...due to ridiculous economy.

Not sure mate, the option hasn't disappeared for me. It's at the top of the list when you're selecting your aircraft.
If it comes to worst, you can always fill up spaces with Reserve aircrafts.

So you take reserve planes in the standard slots, any additionally bought crew can be sent to holidays as always.

Not every player aspires to ascend to Pro Sim Flyer Status, some just want to fly. It's a preference, not a display of abilities. 16 skins for your consideration

It works for all the slots past 3.  So you should be able to slot your lower level planes and not get stuck in high-tier battles like you want.  What is lame about that?
