I'm re-installed the game twice now, and both times I get the same-ERROR. WITHOUT a dump

If I click 'Play', I get an error reading:

The program can't start because XINPUT9_1_0.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.

Now, I've looked up this .dll, and I actually have it.

ErrorWT2_zps3aef8e01.png

Which makes no sense to me why I'd get the error. I've restarted my PC, reinstalled twice, checked file integrity using the launcher, and I still get this error.

I don't have a dump file to provide you because it never makes one.

Some more info would be lovely,

by your screenshot I see you are using windows 8 *shudders*

dit the game work before on the same PC ?

without looking it up, I think the error is related to some DirectX 9 thing.

have you tried reinstalling/updating DirectX ?

try updating your pc's chipset and graphics card drivers.

what PC hardware / software do you have ?

(without more info its hard to give you suggestions)

Hans

P.S. ive never noticed, but the game EXE is called Aces.exe ??? (I thought it was warthunder.exe :( meh)

ok, that explains alot :)

you are using server hardware and a server OS for playing desktop game's :)

(in theory it should work afcourse, but its not realy something the developers code for :) )

you leave an important part out,

what mainboard ?

and dit you just NOW download the latest intel chipset drivers for your motherboard chipset and install them ?

The problem is fixed.

A friend recommended me some DLL repair software that has apparently fixed the problem. All I had to do was select the correct DLL and hit repair, (If it doesn't repair, then you need to manually install it)

A simple restart and afterwards it seemed to be running.

I hope this helps people.
